Wearing guide
Wearing your BioSoles
A little patience up front pays off. Here's how to break in your insoles and get the most from them — we'll also email this to you after your order.
Break them in gradually
Wear them a few hours a day to start — about 3–4 hours on day one, 5 hours on day two — and build up over the first week. They should feel noticeably more comfortable within one to two weeks.
A short adjustment period is normal
BioSoles are made to support, cushion and correct your foot biomechanics, so it's normal to feel slightly uncomfortable for the first few days. It takes a little patience; the discomfort should settle within one to two weeks. If it doesn't, please contact our clinical team for advice.
Fitting them in your shoes
- Remove the shoe's existing insole first, then place your BioSoles inside.
- Use “neutral” shoes — ones that don't themselves correct for pronation or supination. A non-neutral shoe can over-correct the foot and make walking feel unstable.
- Check that the base inside the shoe has enough width for the insole to sit flat and give proper support.
- If your BioSoles are slightly large for a shoe, lay the shoe's old insole on top, trace the outline, and trim with ordinary scissors. This changes only the look, not the function.
- The feel changes from shoe to shoe — you'll notice more support in some and less in others. That's expected.
